ASCVD (coronary artery disease) Questionnaire

Dear Canadian Heart Patients and Caregivers,

This is a request from the Canadian Heart Patient Alliance to patients (and their caregivers) living with heart disease due to high cholesterol, either inherited or acquired. You may have responded to a previous request for input for a new cholesterol-lowering medication call Leqvio (inclisiran). Unfortunately, despite the fact that the therapy has proven benefits and requires an injection only twice a year, it was denied by the Canadian drug assessment agency. Now, we have an opportunity to request approval for a smaller group of high-risk patients those with severe Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease () who are not well managed by their current therapy alone.
